Nairobi, Kenya — East African Breweries PLC has announced several leadership changes, including the appointment of two new directors to its board.

The company appointed Hina Nagarajan and Andrew Ross as directors, effective Aug. 4, according to a public notice issued Wednesday.

The appointments follow the resignation of Sothish Krishnan, who served on the board since July 2023.

Nagarajan, who will serve as an executive director, is the president of Diageo Africa, where she oversees operations across the continent.

She has a strong background in international leadership and strategic management, having held key positions at Diageo India, Reckitt Benckiser, and Mary Kay India. She also serves as a non-executive director on the board of BP Plc.

Ross joins the board as a non-executive director, bringing more than 28 years of experience in the African beverage industry.

He is the current general manager for Diageo Southern Africa and the Indian Ocean, with a career that includes senior roles at both Diageo and SABMiller. Ross holds an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
