KAMPALA, Uganda — Vivo Energy Uganda on Thursday reopened its refurbished Shell Busia service station, a key transit point for travelers between Uganda and Kenya.
The upgraded facility boasts an expanded forecourt, a quick-service restaurant and an enhanced Shell Select store. The station also features a dedicated fueling point for motorcycle taxis, a first for the region.
According to Joanita Mukasa Menya, Vivo Energy Uganda’s managing director, the refurbishment underscores the company’s commitment to enhancing customer experience and contributing to Uganda’s economic growth.
“The reopening of Shell Busia is a testament to our dedication to delivering world-class fuels and services to our customers,” Mukasa Menya said.
