Private Sector Foundation Uganda (PSFU) Executive Director Gideon Badagawa has died.
News reaching Kikubolane desk indicate that Badagawa passed on today morning at Mulago Hospital where his wife is also fighting for her life. She reportedly lost father to Covid-19 last week.
Badagawa has been at the forefront of fighting Covid-19 in the private sector and recently led a campaign called Tugobe Corona Wear a Mask geared towards curbing the spread of virus.

Badagawa has served as the Executive Director PSFU for the last 11 years. Previously, he worked with Uganda Manufacturers Association as Executive Director for 2 years.
He has also served as a member of the Board of National Environment Management Authority (NEMA), Board of Uganda Energy Credit Capitalization Company Limited, Board of Uganda National Planning Authority (NPA), Board of Uganda Warehouse Receipts Authority (UWRA), and Board of the Economic Policy Research Centre (EPRC).
