PostBank on Eid al-Adha extended a gesture of kindness to Muslim communities in Luzira Prisons and Uganda Police Force with a donation of cows and bags of rice.

The handover ceremony took place at Kampala Extra Region Headquarters in Luzira where Mr. Brain Corr Mbaziira, Senior Superintendent of Prisons (Officer in Charge), received the gifts on behalf of the prison community.

Mr. Mbaziira expressed heartfelt gratitude to PostBank Uganda.

“We are deeply thankful to PostBank for remembering us during this festive period. These donations will greatly complement our celebrations and bring joy to the staff,” he said.

Mr. Kato emphasized the bank’s commitment to building sustainable partnerships that enrich and empower both institutions and the communities they serve.

He stated, “Our support during Eid al-Adha is a reflection of our ongoing dedication to building resilient and thriving communities. By working together with the police and Uganda Prisons, we aim to create lasting positive impacts that go beyond this festive period, ensuring continued growth and well-being for all involved.”

At Naguru Police Headquarters, Senior Commissioner of Police Hadijja Namutebi and Hajji Kirungi, Chairperson of the Police Muslim Fraternity, conveyed their sincere appreciation, saying, “We are grateful to PostBank for thinking of us during Eid al-Adha. This support means a lot to us and will significantly enhance our celebrations.”
