KAMPALA, Uganda — Old Mutual Life Assurance celebrated a year of sustained business growth during its 2025 Agency Awards, recognizing the sales force and managers responsible for the company’s recent success.

The ceremony, held at the Mestil Hotel, focused on the resilience and dedication of agents who have driven the firm’s expansion. Managing Director Patrick Kinoti Kimathi said the collective efforts of the sales team have been instrumental in delivering superior value to customers and shaping the company’s trajectory.

Each of you plays a pivotal role in shaping the success of Old Mutual Life Assurance, and your dedication does not go unnoticed, Kimathi told the attendees.

As part of an evolving reward structure designed to support continued growth, the company transitioned from its traditional grand prize vehicle to a cash award of 6 million Ugandan shillings for the top-performing agent. Other high achievers received international travel packages to Zanzibar and Türkiye, alongside household items and other cash incentives.
