CFAO Mobility and Afrisafe Insurance Brokers hand over a Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid to Bernadette Musanabera, the first female golfer to win the Stanbic Match Play hole-in-one prize.

KAMPALA, Uganda — CFAO Mobility and Afrisafe Insurance Brokers & Risk Consultants have officially delivered a brand-new Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid to Bernadette Musanabera, marking the first time a golfer has secured the hole-in-one prize in the history of the Stanbic Match Play series.

The handover ceremony, held Wednesday at the Toyota Showroom in Kampala, celebrated Musanabera’s historic ace on the par-three 12th hole at Entebbe Club during the Feb. 14 qualifier. The achievement makes her the first woman to win the vehicle in the tournament’s history.

Afrisafe Insurance Brokers, which has sponsored the hole-in-one prize at Entebbe Club for more than a decade, provided the vehicle. Chairman Kwame Ejalu said the milestone reflects the company’s commitment to creating meaningful incentives for excellence in Ugandan sports.

CFAO Mobility Marketing Manager Isaac Tegule said the partnership highlights the intersection of talent and corporate opportunity.

“Today is not just about handing over a car; it is about celebrating excellence, precision, and the power of opportunity,” Tegule said. “Bernadette’s achievement is clear evidence of what is possible when talent meets the right platform.”

The Toyota Corolla Cross Hybrid awarded to Musanabera includes a two-year service plan and a three-year warranty. Stanbic Bank Uganda, the lead sponsor of the series, noted that such milestones demonstrate the impact of sustained corporate investment in elevating the profile of golf in the region.

The Stanbic Match Play series continues with 64 pairs advancing toward a grand finale, where top performers will earn international golf experiences at the DP World Tour in Dubai and trips to Zanzibar and Mombasa.
