Did you know that 72% of Gen Z value authenticity and seek genuine connections in everything they do*? In an age when digital interactions can feel fleeting, sharing a Coke is a simple, tangible gesture that shows you care. This year’s campaign features an expanded customisation platform with even more names and the ability to personalise your own label. Can’t find your name in-store? Just scan the QR code on the bottle to access the “Share a Coke” digital hub, where you can create a one-of-a-kind virtual Coca-Cola bottle to share with friends, family, and loved ones.
Meaningful connections flourish both online and offline. While digital platforms help us stay connected, it’s the real-world, in-person moments that create unforgettable memories. Yet, physical ‘third spaces’—the informal gathering spots that foster genuine connections—are on the decline. “Share a Coke” celebrates the friendships that define this generation and the spaces that allow real-life moments of togetherness to thrive.
To mark the campaign’s relaunch, Coca-Cola has introduced the “Share a Coke” Memory Maker—a fun, digital experience that lets you create memes and personalised videos with your friends and family. Developed in partnership with well-known content creators, this feature allows users to remix their own content using unique templates. The experience is available exclusively through the “Share a Coke” digital hub.
So, how can you get involved? Look out for personalised Coca-Cola bottles in stores and get ready to share the magic with your crew.
In Uganda, the campaign launch took place at Makerere University Business School (MUBS), where consumers enjoyed a series of vibrant cultural experiences. Highlights included a Cultural Gala celebrating East African heritage through fashion, music, dance, storytelling, and art exhibitions. The event also featured performances by local artists and DJs, along with interactive experiential zones.
Vivienne Olenyo, Manager, Frontline Marketing, Uganda, shared,
“In our increasingly digital lives, it’s more important than ever to recognise and cherish the special bonds of friendship. ‘Share A Coke’ serves as a reminder that some of life’s most memorable moments are created when we come together—sharing laughter, stories and authentic connections. It’s those spontaneous, real interactions, often sparked over a Coca-Cola bottle, that bring true magic to everyday life.”
Personalised Coca-Cola bottles will be available from mid-April 2025.
