United Bank for Africa Uganda Limited (UBA Uganda) has appointed Kisambira Kenneth as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Kampala, Uganda – United Bank for Africa Uganda Limited (UBA Uganda) has appointed Kisambira Kenneth as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Mr. Kenneth, a seasoned banker with over 18 years of experience, will be responsible for driving the bank’s growth strategy and expanding its operations in Uganda.

Prior to his appointment, Mr. Kenneth served as the Executive Director and Head of Corporate and Commercial Banking at UBA Uganda.

“Mr. Kenneth’s appointment is a testament to our commitment to developing and promoting local talent,” said the Chairman of the Board of Directors at UBA Uganda.

“His wealth of experience and expertise in corporate finance, digital transformation, and strategy implementation make him the ideal candidate to lead our bank’s growth and transformation agenda.”

Mr. Kenneth holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management from Uganda Martyrs University.

The outgoing CEO, Mrs. Chioma Mang, will be leaving the bank after a successful tenure that saw significant growth and expansion of the bank’s operations.
