Musasizi said this 25th year is a special milestone for the Government of Uganda and Citibank. He also congratulated Citibank upon signing its first project loan with the Government of Uganda. This project loan is worth Euro 126.44 million and will fund the construction of Lusalira-Nkonge-Lumegere-Ssembabule Road (97km).
State Minister for Finance (General Duties) has called upon Citibank Uganda to continue innovating and adapting to emerging trends, strengthening partnerships with government and private sector as well as prioritizing sustainability and social responsibility.
The minister made the remarks on Friday while officiating at Citi’s Silver Jubilee celebrations (25 years) at Protea, Kampala hotel.
“The Government of Uganda remains committed to maintaining macroeconomic stability, improving the business environment, and supporting the growth of the financial sector,” said the Minister.
