MTN Uganda has announced three strategic leadership appointments to drive growth, innovation, and operational excellence. Thomas Motlepa, Franklin Ocharo, and Peace Kabatangare join the company’s executive team, bringing extensive experience and expertise.

Thomas Motlepa assumes the role of Chief Technology & Information Officer (CTIO), leveraging his 20 years of experience in telecommunications and technology. Motlepa’s leadership in network optimization, digital transformation, and operational efficiency will ensure MTN Uganda’s network remains robust and future-ready.

Franklin Ocharo joins as General Manager of Growth & New Business, bringing 18 years of experience in product management, business development, and commercial strategy. Ocharo’s expertise will drive market expansion and develop new business avenues.

Peace Kabatangare takes on the role of General Manager of Internal Audit & Forensics, utilizing her 13 years of experience in internal audit, risk management, and forensics. Kabatangare will ensure MTN Uganda maintains high standards of governance, integrity, and transparency.

MTN Uganda CEO, Sylvia Mulinge, welcomed the new appointees.
