The initiative focuses on key areas like economic empowerment, education, health, water, and environmental sustainability, aligning with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. The first phase saw 25 standout projects receive funding, including a borehole in Kiikuuta Village, spring wells in Gulu City, and economic empowerment for women in Sironko District.

MTN Uganda CEO Sylvia Mulinge emphasized the company’s dedication to empowering communities, saying, “Our goal is to help communities realize their visions and foster collaboration for sustainable development.”
