Overview:

Kamulegeya spent 27 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a leading global professional services firm, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including Partner for 17 years and managing partner for PwC Uganda for 12 years.

MTN Uganda has announced the appointment of Francis Kamulegeya as an independent non-executive director.

Kamulegeya brings with him a wealth of experience across various sectors including accounting, tax and corporate governance, consultancy and advisory services, business policy advocacy, financial management, business development, and executive management.

He spent 27 years at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC), a leading global professional services firm, where he held positions of increasing responsibility, including Partner for 17 years and managing partner for PwC Uganda for 12 years.

Kamulegeya has also served as a member of the PwC Africa Governance Board for 8 years, providing strategic guidance to the leadership team on matters related to PwC’s global business in Africa.

Beyond his corporate career, Kamulegeya is known for his commitment to community service.

He is the director and founder of the Masaka School of the Deaf, a private institution dedicated to providing primary education and vocational skills training to deaf children in Uganda for the past 18 years.
