Several people, including a police officer, won several prizes in the sixth and seventh draws of the Kansai Plascon Uganda “Paint & Win” promotion.
Among the winners is Mr Paul Okello working with Counter Terrorism Police, who won Shs1m and a home makeover.
The other major winner is Ms Evans Amara Muzinkduki from Fort Portal, who won a motorbike.
Mr Okello was declared in the seventh draw that took place on Saturday 21st November, 2021.
The police officer, who he bought his paint from Ntinda Hardware World, says he got the call from Mr Daniel Kayongo, the Brand Manager at Plascon.
However, Mr Okello says he was very doubtful and believed the caller was a conman. So he asked his friend to escort him to the Plascon Head Office on 2nd Street to ensure this was real.
“As you can all see, I am here standing here having won my Shs1m, plus my home in Lira is going to be painted by Plascon,” he said.
On the otherhand, Ms Muzinkduki from Fort Portal, was speechless about winning the motorbike.
Ms Muzunduki said: “Glory to the almighty God. I am humbled. I had no idea I would win this motorbike. I took a taxi from Fort Portal this morning and look at me going back with a motorbike,” she said as walked off with Shs1m and her motorbike.
She was the winner in the sixth week of the promotion which took place on November 13.
Mr Narva Shasank from Jinja was excited to go home with Shs1.4m. To date he is the biggest buyer to date he had bought paint worth Shs30m.
Kansai Plascon Uganda launched the 10th Edition of the “Paint & Win” promotion on Friday, 1st October 2021 and it will end on Sunday, 12th December, 2021.
To enter the draw one has to buy Plascon paint worth Shs100,000 or more, and get a voucher and SMS the code to 7197 and stand a chance to win Shs1m every day.
Instant prizes include airtime and pens and during the activations, t-shirts, caps, key rings, drawstring bags and umbrellas.
Daily winners get a chance to compete for a motorbike or a home paint makeover through the weekly TV engagements.
