Blick Wines, the maker of Blick Mulberry Wine, on Friday, June 30, 2023, launched a state-of-the-art wine factory to help them increase production.
The company said its new factory, located in Mpatta, Mukono District, is designed to produce high quality wines using the latest technology and sustainable practices.
Arthur Blick Senior, Blick Wine’s CEO, said the facility will boost their production.
“With this new facility, we are able to expand our production capabilities and continue to deliver the exceptional wines that our customers have come to love and enjoy,” he said.

During a guided tour of the facility, experts explained that the new wine factory features a range of cutting-edge equipment and technology, including custom-designed tanks and barrels, a temperature-controlled fermentation room, and an adequate bottling line.
The facility is also designed with sustainability in mind, implementing a range of eco-friendly practices to reduce waste and lower its environmental impact.
“We’re committed to using sustainable practices throughout our production process,” said Nanette Blick. “From our use of electricity, and wind-driven turbines to our focus on reducing water usage, we’re constantly looking for ways to minimize our environmental footprint and be good stewards of the planet.”
The launch of the new wine factory is just the latest in a series of exciting developments for Blick Mulberry Wine.

With a reputation for quality and innovation, Blick Mulberry Wine continues to push the boundaries of winemaking and offer its customers the best possible wine experience.
Blick Wines is a Ugandan-based company offering naturally made wine from freshly Farm grown Mulberries, and star fruit.
Mr. Blick said, the wines have been tested and shared among friends and family as well as a few people whose feedback has been very helpful in informing the factory launch.
