The Mo Money with MoKash campaign, launched by NCBA to promote financial inclusion and customer engagement, has come to a successful close with the distribution of grand prizes totaling Shs65 million.
The eight-week campaign, which aimed to encourage responsible financial behavior and increase access to financial services, culminated in a grand finale where three lucky winners received Shs5 million each, while 100 others won up to Shs500,000.
According to Mark Muyobo, NCBA’s Chief Executive Officer, the campaign’s success is a testament to the bank’s commitment to empowering individuals and communities through financial inclusion. “We are thrilled to celebrate the achievements of our users and conclude this campaign on a high note. Financial inclusion is about enabling individuals to actively participate in the financial sector and make informed decisions about their financial lives,” he said.
The campaign also focused on fostering a culture of timely loan repayment, which is critical in expanding credit access to a broader range of customers. By encouraging prompt loan repayments, NCBA aimed to reduce the risk of default and increase the availability of credit to those who need it most.
