KAMPALA, Uganda — Stanbic Bank Uganda Limited has appointed Paul Muganwa as executive director, adding to his role as head of corporate and investment banking.
The appointment, announced Thursday, follows regulatory approval and brings the number of executive directors on the bank’s board to three.
Muganwa has nearly two decades of banking experience, including leadership roles in Uganda and South Africa. He has expertise in various banking functions and has driven growth in corporate and investment banking.
Muganwa’s appointment strengthens the bank’s leadership team and demonstrates its commitment to building a strong succession talent pool, the bank said.
Damoni Kitabire, board chairman, congratulated Muganwa on his new role and wished him continued success.
