KAMPALA, UGANDA – MTN Uganda’s Chief Marketing Officer, Somdev Sen, is set to exit the company after a seven-year tenure, effective October 11, 2024. Sen has been appointed as the Chief Digital and Commercial Officer at MTN Rwanda, starting October 14, 2024.
During his time at MTN Uganda, Sen drove significant growth through innovative customer engagement initiatives, data-driven strategies, and successful marketing campaigns. Under his leadership, MTN Uganda doubled its customer base in just six years.

Sen held three leadership roles at MTN Uganda: General Manager Customer Value Management, General Manager Business Intelligence, and Chief Marketing Officer. He led iconic campaigns like “Uganda is Home,” “MTN Senkyu,” and “MoMo Nyabo.”

In his new role at MTN Rwanda, Sen will oversee the development and implementation of digital strategies to drive business growth.
