The Uganda Registration Services Bureau (URSB) Deputy Registrar General in charge of Finance & Administration, Mr. Alfred Mugisha has died.
In a tweet, URSB announced the passing of Mr Mugisha and implored for prayers as they mourn the loss.
“With deep sorrow & profound sadness, we announce the promotion to God’s glory of our Deputy Registrar General-Finance & Administration, Mr. Alfred Mugisha. Please pray for us as we mourn our loss. May God grant Alfred eternal rest,” URSB said in a tweet this morning.
Mugisha is said to have succumbed to COVID-19 after battling the infectious disease for weeks under the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Mugisha’s death comes after the Head for Oil and Gas in CIB/Wholesale Team for Stanbic Bank Uganda, Henry Rucwere Kamuntu, passed on yesterday.
Rucwere, also son to Former Tourism Minister Prof Ephraim Kamuntu is also said to have succumbed to the deadly virus.
